  Adam & Job

Adam and Job are an interesting study.  Both were husbands and fathers.

Adam didn’t protect or lead Eve and sin came to the human race.  (Gen. 3:1-7)  Job didn’t follow his wife’s fleshly advice and eventually God’s character emerged and worship came to the Lord. (Job 2:7-10; 42:1-6)

This Mother’s Day there is a wonderful gift that we husbands can give to our wives.  It’s godly leadership.  It probably won’t cost us money.  It will cost us selfishness and passivity.

Happy Mother’s Day!  We will servant-lead letting the Holy Spirit, the Good Shepherd, and the Bible lead us!
