Six Features that Make "The Road to Recovery" Unique

1.  It is based on the Bible- The CR principles are God's road to recovery, wholeness, growth, and spiritual maturity

2.  It is forward-looking- Rather than living in the past, CR focuses on how to make wise choices now and depend on Christ's power to help you

3.  It emphasizes personal responsibility- We stop blaming and hiding our faults and allow the healing power of Jesus to begin working in our mind, will and emotions

4.  It emphasizes spiritual commitment to Jesus Christ- Lasting recovery cannot happen without a total surrender of one's life to Christ

5.  It utilizes the Biblical truth that we need each other to grow spiritually- CR is based on the principle that we don't get well by ourselves- accountability and fellowship are key elements

6.  It addresses all types of habits, hurts, and hang-ups- CR is a large umbrella program which addresses a limitless number of life's issues
