The Scriptures: We believe the Bible, in its original manuscripts as contained in the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments, to be the verbally inspired and inerrant Word of God, and the only infallible authority for faith and practice. The Word of God shall be the sole basis and foundation for the preaching and teaching ministry of this church.
(2 Tim. 3:15-17; 2 Peter 1:19-21)
God: We believe that the Godhead eternally exists in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, and these three are one God.
(Matt. 28:19; John 14:16-20)
Jesus Christ: We believe that Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, and is truly God and truly man.
(Luke 1:26-38; John 1:1,14; Matt. 1:18-25)
Man: We believe that man was created in the image of God and that through sin fell from his original state, thereby incurring the judgment of God, as expressed through physical death and eternal separation from God.
(Romans 3:23;5:12; 6:23)
Salvation: We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sin, according to the Scriptures, as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice, and that all who believe in Him are justified on the basis of His shed blood and are furthermore eternally secure in the light of the perfect and finished work of Christ.
(Eph. 2:8-9; John 10:28-29; Romans 5:8-9)
Resurrection; We believe in the bodily resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, that He ascended into heaven, and that he is now seated at the right hand of God the Father and that He ever lives to make intercession for all who come to God by Him.
(Acts 1:9-11; Hebrews 4:14; Eph. 1:19-21)
The Church; We believe that the true or invisible Church, which is the body of Christ, began with the descent of the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost; and that each person who accepts the Lord Jesus Christ as his or her personal Savior is a member of that body, and is permanently indwelled by the Holy Spirit.
(Acts 2:1-4; 1 Cor. 6:19-20; 12:12-18)
The Ordinances; We believe that the Lord¹s Supper and water Baptism are the only divinely instituted ordinances to be practiced in this age. Baptism shall be by immersion, and for believers only.
(Matt. 28:19-20; 1 Cor. 11:23-29)
Future Things; We believe that Christ may, at any moment, return in the air to rapture His church, which is comprised of His saints, and that a tribulation period of approximately seven years shall follow, after which He will come to earth with His saints to rule for a thousand years. After this the wicked will be judged and cast into the everlasting lake of fire.
(1 Thess. 4:13-18; 1 Cor. 15:51-57; Dan. 9:27; Mat. 24:15-21,27; 25:46 Rev. 19:10-15,20)
Satan; We believe that Satan is a person and the author of the fall and that he shall be eternally punished.
(Job 1:7; Gen. 3:1-19; Rev. 20:10)
Resurrection and Judgment of Man; We believe in the bodily resurrection of the dead, both the just and the unjust; in the eternal conscious punishment of the lost and the eternal joy of the saved.
(Rev. 20:11-15; 22:12-14; 1 Cor. 15:1-58)
